Setting up signup access for your HeaderPath account

As an Admin, you decide how learners can join your HeaderPath account. You can make signup public (open to anyone on the internet) or private (invite-only).

Public signup

When your account is set to public:

  1. Anyone who visits your account can find a Sign up link or button.
  2. They’ll be taken to the signup page, where they can create their account by entering their details.
  3. After verifying their email address, they can log in and start learning right away.

Need to know

  • Public signup makes your account accessible to the widest audience possible.
  • Email verification is required before learners can log in.

Private signup (Invite-only)

When your account is set to private:

  1. Only admins can add new users by sending them an invitation from inside the admin dashboard.
  2. The invited user will receive an email with a link to join.
  3. After clicking the link and verifying their email, they can log in and access the academy.

Need to know

  • Invite-only access gives you full control over who can join your academy.
  • Invitations must be sent from an admin account.
